Patty is my (Tom's) older sister and I look up to her, because she was more like a mom then a sister. However, one of her many talents is that she is a good writer and so I have shared with you some of her writings. As it turns out my sister and eye share an enjoyment of writing with Patty it was prose and here you will find some of her writings.
The first of her stories is a substitute for The Night Before Christmas just click on this link to see it The Christmas Story then there is a little poem that she wrote before the United States entered world war II please read A Plea The poem was written when Japan had attacked China and was published in the Sacramento Union at the beginning of World War II.
I wonder have we oldsters now forgotten? See the Faxsimile of the poem printed in the Sacramento Union. She has also added stanzas to existing hymns such as Forgive and Thank You. Finally there is Safely Home written in 2002.
